Seriously. Guys are total douche bags. And it’s not necessarily every guy in the world, but specifically the ones you fall in love with.
My blog got some search tags of “girlfriend stabbing boyfriend cartoon”. I think I can make that happen.

But Lauren was still unhappy with her life, regardless of how happy she was with Boyfriend. The darkness and depression still followed her. Her disappointing past as well as her dead-end future made for a bad time.

To make matters worse, Lauren was busy as hell. Busy as in 12 hour days, every day, and her exhaustion caused her to be a total grouch. If she was one of the seven dwarves she’d be called “Bitchy”. She was working full-time and going to school full-time. Coupled with a full-time boyfriend, she was in a full-time hell.

Going on almost ten shots of espresso a day, she was a mess.

The stress in her life reached to unbearable portions, and was starting to affect her health. The caffeine and exhaustion caused her to develop an eye twitch. She looked either like a tweaker, or like she was trying to be seductive.

She was miserable. Something had to change.
So, change she did. For years, it was her goal to attend a university and receive a quality education to become a successful Art Historian. Since there is no time like the present, Lauren packed her bags and moved to Santa Barbara. She left her family, her job, and her hometown to follow her dreams.
And with that, their relationship had begun.
They ended up taking their breaks together at work everyday. They got to know each other, and started becoming friends, although it was quite obvious that Lauren wanted to be more than friends. The closer they became, and as the more she found out about him, the more in love with him she fell.
She had figured that longer she knew him, she would eventually “get used to” him. This never happened. She was like a deer in the headlights every time she saw him.
Their relationship progressed and soon became boyfriend and girlfriend. Lauren was elated. They did fun things together, and had a wonderful time enjoying each other’s company.
Their connection as a couple grew even stronger than when they were simply friends. They were happy together, and their relationship was as close to perfect as possible. They were two peas in a pod and never argued – about serious matters, anyway.
They were perfect together.

More updates coming soon, along with “Part 2″. I have taken a cut in hours at work, leaving me more time for other important things, like drawing cartoons, playing video games, watching movies. Oh and I guess homework fits in there somewhere.
Once upon a time, there was a girl named Lauren.
Lauren was a normal, red-and-black-haired twenty-something year old. She loved art, movies, and sharks. She appeared to be a happy person. However, Lauren was dealing with dark demons that were haunting her everyday. She tried to escape the menacing ghosts, but no matter what she did, sorrow met her at every turn. It was as if she was walking through a dark forest of her own misery.
Then, one day, she saw him.
It happened at work. All of her coworkers were talking about a new guy entering the department:
“I heard he’s handsome.”
“I heard he’s arrogant!”
“Did you hear about his hair?”
“Pft,” she thought to herself. “Like a shiny new toy. This guy’s got them more excited than when the vending machines got double fudge brownies…”
All it took was one look. One look at Jack, and Lauren knew she wanted him. She was not a very superstitious person, and did not believe in love at first sight (rather, she was bitter on the subject of “love”). But something inexplicable happened when she saw him, and she made a promise to herself that she would make him hers.
Thus, the hunt began. He had no idea what was coming for him.
Lauren would unashamedly stalk Jack. She would constantly be on watch for when he was around, just to have the chance to gawk at him.
She finally bolstered up the courage to actually speak to him, and went to find him on his break (of course she knew when he took break).
She couldn’t get him off her mind. During her observations, Lauren discovered that Jack was not only as handsome as a Greek God, but he was intelligent and funny – two traits she greatly admired. Her infatuation with him was growing stronger. She decided to ask him The Question.
